    Page Six:

Infamous Fyre Festival promoter Billy McFarland may have neglected to budget for toilets, but he still managed to drop more than $150,000 on a yacht for the band Blink-182, according to documents obtained by The Post.

McFarland — who’s facing wire fraud charges and a rash of civil cases over the nightmarish music festival in the Bahamas that ended up serving cold cheese sandwiches and forcing guests to live in tents — shelled out $160,000 for the planned headliner’s perk last April, according to his bank statements and a federal source with intimate knowledge of the case.

There’s going to be a nuts documentary made about this entire thing in a few years.

Ja Rule hasn't been charged in this, right? Does anyone know why?

Travis is the only one I could see actually taking advantage of a yacht.

I'd imagine the boat was to get Travis there since he won't fly. Pretty sure he requires a boat cruise or yacht in the contract for any of their tours or festival appearances abroad.

There's important sub-text here: You can get a yacht for only $150,000.

How long before the Francos, Jonah Hill, and Seth make this a movie?

its such a short flight though from Miami Travis could just load up on a bunch of Xanax and he'd be fine. He talked about doing something like that for overseas shows

Travis has talked about getting knocked out to get on a flight for years and he’s never done it no matter how short or long. He always says he gets close and then chickens out when the time comes because he’s not ready. The dude will never fly again no matter the distance.

Give the film rights to Andy Samberg and The Lonely Island and let them handle it.

I propose a season of American Crime Story. I know it's not in keeping with the other subjects they've explored with the show, but it could be fun.

I really wish there was a series like 30 for 30 but for the music industry. There is an endless supply of interesting docs that could be done.

  21. Still not convinced this whole thing wasn't somehow a massive social experiment that either went horribly wrong or completely right, depending on where you're sitting.

EDIT: I guess "Behind the Music" did exist at one time, but, something more modern would be great.

Fuck I came here to say the exact same thing lol. Make it the most 2000s comedy ever and just have Blink 182 star as themselves, too.
