This is getting torn up in reviews
Three episodes in and totally loving it
I’m going to start this tonight, hope it’s decent.
I don’t really get the point of Luci. Bean seems to already be enough of a rebel and doesn’t give much of a shit about anyone else
Watched the first two episodes and enjoyed it.
Really liked the first. Fell asleep during the second last night so I’ll have to start it over.
I said something about the elves being recycled from Happy Little Elves from The Simpsons and my wife dead ass had an epiphany and asked if this, Futurama, and The Simpsons are all made by the same people.
Who did I marry?
Did not like the ending
Not sure I laughed at a single thing Luci said. Such a lazily written character, especially compared to his obvious Groening-verse counterpart - Bender. A waste of Eric Andre’s weirdness
I got about halfway through the 2nd episode and I'm just bored.
I find this highly amusing.
14 minutes in and I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna like this that much.
it speeds up a little, episode 2 is much better than the pilot
I’m really liking this so far, could be better here or there but it’s still good in my book.
this gets much better after the two-part intro
Liking the first episode so far. Reviews made it seem way worse than it really is.
Yeah, I really loved this. I liked it enough from the start but it really does get better as it goes along. The cast outside the main three takes a bit to warm up to. King Zög starts off annoyingly one-note but has some depth and sympathy by the end. This is hitting the points that made Futurama so enjoyable to me in a lot of places. There's lot of the same humor, character and narrative structure here. You can tell its by a lot of the same team. Enjoying Mark Mothersbaugh's score a lot, too. Definitely looking forward to more.
TV's reviewer actually amended their review after seeing the final three episodes that the critics didn't get.
Oh, and there's a post-credits scene at the end if you missed it.
I read reviews that the characters are forgettable or boring, and yet halfway through the first episode, and I was already loving Luci haha
I also really liked Elfo's intro/back story in the first episode
Pretty disappointed I'm not into this, like at all, but everybody seems to be saying it gets better after the first episode so I'll obviously give it a few more until I make up my mind
The dialogue on this just seems piss poor.
So much potential but the jokes almost always fall flat, without much distinct flavor to really set it apart.
this was pretty mediocre. picked up steam towards the end but just felt dull at times.
I still need to watch the last episode, but episodes 7 through 9 are fantastic imo.
I only wish Luci had more lines and things to do. If you're going to make a Bender-like character, at least use him like one. Sometimes he just seems more like a side character.
Is... is that Fry's severed head on the right?
I did notice a wig that was Fry's hair in one of the early episodes. There's a really great Futurama easter egg in the final episode. Blink and you'll miss it kind of thing but its pretty obvious where it is.
sing a little softer, we're in avalanche terrain
YOU GOT IT
Damn, I watched it and didn't notice anything! What was it?
Also, really bummed about that cliffhanger they left us on haha
