Not really, their pre-Settle material was mostly similar quality, definitely not crazy different or "lol"-worthy

 

Dang I tend to forget I was more into this group.. Settle had great jams, but Caracal didn't grab me at all.

 

Yeah I was confused there.

 

I'm shocked not that many of you are in Caracal. I think it's just as good as Settle but for different reason.

 

Agreed, I really liked Caracal; went to a show on their tour for that album and it was a great time. But yeah they've essentially just stopped giving updates. If a new single is coming out soon though, hopefully that should mean a full new album is coming

 

Caracal is so bad imo

 

I've always preferred The Face and Tenderly/Flow to when they started to go for a more straight up pop thing. Settle was fun though, no hate

 

I like Caracal for different reasons than I like Settle, I don’t think I’d call one better than the other

 

This is the sentiment I have. To me Settle is like the soundtrack to start of night out, whereas Caracal is perfect for winding down afterwards.

First listen through, very much a Disclosure song. Just glad they are (somewhat) back

 

Better than most of Caracal but I’m still not super feeling it. I just find their stuff really flat these days.

 

Flat is right - maybe it's us that have changed but this is so predictable and boring

 

Finally heard the track and dang I'm loving it! Discovery vibes all over it and the guest vocals with dat African touch is niceee

 

I mean it feels closer to Settle than Caracal. I don’t mind it but it feels more like an extended interlude. At the very least it seems like an odd single choice

 

Wonder if it’ll be good
