Thought I missed numerous pages of discussion, lively debate, and analysis but nope just people talking about their height and if it’s ok to yell at rude strangers (it is)
This was very good. Emily Blunt did GREAT. Colman Domingo GREAT. Not questioning plot holes in the “aliens are real and have a lil rock thing that controls your consciousness” movie
This reminds me that when we left the theater, my mom said how it wasn't scary like his other films like Pet Semetary.
JP and Lost World are on the list but surprisingly no Catch Me if You Can which I really want to see again.
Watched Ready Player One for the first time this year and I enjoyed it more than most this is definitely better.
I think it’s okay to acknowledge that Ready Player One has more appeal to a wider audience and Disclosure Day is a bit more divisive.
I get what Spielberg was going for with the baddie agent guy who was unmoved by the aliens or Emily Blunt because he had too much hate in his heart and wouldn’t, you know, listen, but I did chuckle at the thought that everyone in the world is stunned into silence and wonder and the alien is here to deliver his message for everyone like, “Listen, this message is for all of you…except Brad. Fuck that guy, he sucks. Such a dick. Brad.”
