you made it possible for me to vote for all 3 options so I did you big dumb ogre I've only had Samsung/Motorola phones and I've liked them
my thing with apple is that they p consistently fuck with their products to force you to get the newer model and that really rubs me the wrong way, especially as someone who can't afford to give up a perfectly good phone furthermore, as easy to use and iPhones are I like that I have a greater range of customization for my Android but ofc that's relative and I'm ignorant to a lot of the stuff you can do with an iPhone. I also don't wanna support the monolithic corporate entity cause I'm afraid one day they'll be my only option this has been a post of capitalist paranoia hope you enjoyed
I feel the same way, it's not like Samsung/Motorola/Google are my friends but if there isn't any competition in the market Apple could literally do whatever they want and that's frightening
Sanch get an iPhone 8 Plus. It's what I have. It's sleek, it's sexy, it's fast as fuck, the camera is amazing, and you won't be a dirty fucking green texter
i had a 5s for almost 4 years and the last ios update it received actually made it run better than ever haha. ymmv
yeah, I'm under no delusions that there's a good option but if I'm gonna be a forced participant in this system then at the very least I do need those options yeah, I mean some things are not apples fault ofc but every Apple product I've owned has steadily declined in efficiency until I got my most recent iPod and just stopped updating it, which has lasted me years now. I have gotta say though....camera on point, it really is incredible
True. On average, apple supports their devices for more OS upgrade cycles than the average android manufacturer. Android versus iOS software updates revisited: Two years later and not much has changed
I use the native mail and calendar apps and don't have a problem. I have my gmail accounts and exchange account for work synced to my phone and the calendar app syncs with both my gmail calendar (detects flights, reservations, dr appointments etc) and work calendar (meetings, invites, changes, etc).
okay, then you can turn off the syncing for the calendars you don't want to sync then. and contacts, notes, etc. it's very functional.
