i think the point of it was for people to rack their brains over whether there are any good films in that timeframe besides t&l. i have doubts that i’m right tho

 

well, sure. name the best spielberg movie since 2005, wait except don’t count the one that got nominated for best picture. arbitrary shit.

 

Apparently this Zack Stentz MFer has never seen White Squall...

Side note: I can vividly remember trying to rent Black Rain inside Lake Ripple Video because my mom had a deal with the owners that I could rent some R-rated movies but not others and the owners being like absolutely not, no way, put it back. Other hard No's from them included such films as Basic Instinct and Dead Alive.

 

Alien, Blade Runner, and Thelma and Louise are probably 10s for me.

Absolutely love The Martian, Black Hawk Down and Gladiator

Body of Lies is underrated. As is American Gangster to a lesser extent.

Prometheus, Robin Hood, Kingdom of Heaven, Black Rain, and All the Money in the World Are...fine.

 

HELL yes on Unstoppable. Gotta be the most unhyped great action movie in recent years.

 

I'm surprised at the unstoppable love. I'm a big watch anything with Denzel guy and thought it was just another mediocre movie of his. Will have to revisit.

 

Ridley Scott has so many great flicks. Body of Lies and Matchstick Men are both extremely underrated.

 

Unstoppable is fun.
