The big four are Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Inglourious Basterds, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but Inglourious Basterds stands above the rest.

It's weird that a director with such a strong filmography nevertheless has a clear answer as to what his best film is. It's Basterds.

I picked Basterds but this in one of my favorite closing scenes from a film ever. Feels like The Boys kinda borrowed from it for the end fight of season 2.

He wrenches on it. He thinks it's his.

Definitely IB for me. Endlessly entertaining. That opening is one of my all-time favorite scenes.

  8. Solid top to bottom and so hard to pick one as the best. I honestly like them all and could argue any as my favorite.

Death Proof isn’t my personal favorite but the Grindhouse double feature was one of my favorite theater experiences

When pulp fiction came out, I was running a theater then - and the globe/herald newpapers gave it 4 starts.. go see it. must see it. And people came. People who didnt know what to expect.... and the 3 scenes that people would walk out and demand their money back... 3 scenes... always:

    The gimp
    Adrenaline
    Marvin in the car.

My faves - sure, I havent seen them all. Admitted. but Pulp Fiction got me to watch Reservoir Dogs (I cringe every time when I listen to Stuck in the MIddle.....) and Uma was just super for Kill Bill.

There was a period of time where Reservoir Dogs was ranking near the bottom of his filmography for everyone and I'm just so glad we're beyond that dark time.
