^ same. TDEP is one of my favorite bands but Calculating Infinity is dead last in their discography for me. Other than 43% Burnt and Sugar Coated Sour I never revisit any of it.
Calculating Infinity changed music for me. It’s my favourite album of all time in any genre. Raw, technical, dangerous, original. Perfection from front to back and as much as I love their entire discography, nothing has come close to matching the thrill I get with that record.
Calculating Infinity is my least favorite of theirs as well. I appreciate its significance and greatness but I never want to listen to it over anything else. It's awesome that they're playing again though. They're one of the few contemporary bands I love that I haven't seen.
I came very close to pulling the trigger on the third date but not having anyone to go with and having to fly out makes this a tough pass for me
I’ve actually never listened to pre Greg Dillinger and I’m a pretty big Mike Patton fan too. So perhaps I’ll check out Calculating and that ep Mike guests on.
