Wow yeah that's beautiful. Don't hear Dijon so much but I am loving it. Probably too niche to make a thread for but it rules, check it out.
Yeah I felt pretty much the same way - didn’t really hear all of those artists mentioned, but it’s still good!
the clips I’ve seen from the show in LA has me hyped for the show. it really does look like a lot of people hanging around and jamming.
Show last night was great. Sometimes there are so many things going on with effects that it’s hard to tell if what’s happening is a work of loose improvisation or very rigid order, which is really cool to watch. Whatever the case, they’re super dialed in and sound amazing. Loved the live take on FIRE! Crowd was extremely tame until he played a Justin Bieber cover (Yukon), at which point you would think the room was lit on fire. Hundreds of phones up, people singing with a full chest like it’s the song they came to see. Kinda sucks tbh and hope my show is the outlier there. Love his success this year and all of the opportunities it’s affording him, but would be a bummer if the caveat was a bunch of people driving up prices/demand who mostly see him as an accessory to JB
had a lot of thoughts about this tour - all of them extremely positive: ‘Baby’ in the machine: Dijon Live
Very nice feature published yesterday on Dijon in the NY Times: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/12/02/...e_code=1.508.qZjV.BsrYfGcMk0fF&smid=url-share
saw him on monday night and it was one of the best shows I’ve seen. except for a rather loud group constantly screaming/talking throughout. will never understand spending money on a show like that and talking through the whole thing.
That sounds annoying...Ugh. I'm sad that he ended up cancelling this Friday's show in Maryland to rest his voice ahead of SNL.
I was there too and I know EXACTLY who you were talking about. Too much Main Character energy in moments of silence can be a serious downer. Everything else was perfect though!
