ya in Boston last weekend they were unbelievably good. I’m a fan of the album but their live show is some all time shit

Mk.gee, an instrumentalist on this album and Dijon’s main collaborator, announced his new record recently and it comes out next Friday. His previous albums have been fantastic and I imagine this will be as well

Bon Iver album so clearly influenced by this (and featuring the man himself!). I am rewatching the live film/performance/whatever. Between mk.gee, the Venturing album, Cameron Winters, Bon Iver…I am ready to call this an under appreciated masterpiece and maybe the most important/influential album of the 2020s so far.

 

Is mk.gee the guitarist on this LP?
