Agreed. I got into them during the fall of ‘19. Right before Deceiver came out

 

I need to revisit this one. I love the first two and I think this one just came out during a busy release period.

This is still really good. I know they were recording a few months ago so hopefully they will drop something soon.

Also, they did a podcast during 2020 in which they did a deep dive on a classic album from a variety of genres. Worth checking out.

That new song is pretty good,,, the one that plays after you click enter. Not sure if anyone missed it, but it’s a total of 9 minutes

 

I’m really warming up to this schizopolitics / transhumanism marketing thing they’re doing. New track hits a lot different (better lol) when you’re not in shock from the contents of the website.

 

Yeah I opened the site last week and was like nah I don’t have time for whatever this is at the moment. But just went back and listened to the song. It’s good! Love the crawling, shuffl-y drum pattern. Hopefully this is the start to more

They made a post yesterday that just says “Thursday” and then today put up a song called Brown Paper Bag up for pre-save. Feels logical to assume the new song is coming tomorrow, but pre-save rollouts are usually longer than one day lol. Either way seems like something’s happening tomorrow

 

Would be cool if they also announce the album and release date, I'd put money on a new song tomorrow with that kind of teasing

Zane Lowe is premiering the new song on his show rn (on apple music)

 

Oh man this is good, kinda similar to Horsehead in energy I think and on the slower side of things. Definitely more slowcore leaning but its distinctly DIIV still. None of the weirdness of that 9min track on their site which Im kinda glad about for the first single.
