I like this band but feel they haven’t tapped into their full potential yet

it’s like, they’re good but they could be special!

I like it a lot. Pure DIIV but looser and maybe even a little heavier than their last two albums. Interested to see what else is going on on the album, for some reason I feel like they’re gonna push in new directions this time.

good to see that Zachary Cole Smith is seemingly doing well and back out there. they were great this past Halloween with Deafheaven.

Song is so good, too. Straight up my most anticipated album for the remainder of 2019.

 

Yessss this single is awesome. Really cool to hear a version of DIIV where vocals are pushed to the front and the guitars are a lot crunchier. Is the Is Are was a monster record that’ll be tough to beat but I’m glad this doesn’t sound too much like it
