It's not bad, but it seems the key to popularity these days is to have a generic sound and a female vocalist. That's it. There's nothing remarkable about either her voice or their music.

Enough of an enjoyable vibe that I'll probably check out the album as a whole though.

there's nothing remotely sexist about noting that the majority of bands on the planet are all males, and that having a female vocalist separates them from the pack by default. I didn't say all female vocalists are unremarkable, I said this one is.

I think the band name is awesome... caught my attention. I'll definitely be checking them out.

 

I don't know what it is, there's no logic I can come up with, it just causes this visceral reaction.

 

i've been revisiting the over easy ep to get pumped for this. there is something so charming about their sound, can't wait

Also: finally just preordered this album on vinyl. I dunno what took me so long.

 

I just tried these guys out because they're playing Bled Fest and I'm considering going, they're really cool and so much fun. I just want to get up and dance around. Excited to hear the debut.
