    It's all hell.

I don't have a pump either, so I'm not entirely sure to be honest! My partner is a teacher and has a diabetic child in her class who has a pump (although I'm not sure what device it is) and I know that they have to manually input the amount of carbohydrates he consumes into an app on his phone for the pump to then release the correct amount of insulin needed. I believe this new pump will bypass this process with it being linked directly to the monitor without the need for the carbon counting and inputting (although in practice I'm not sure how that works!)

Wild. Pumps are still such a crazy concept to me, even though I know they are mainstays with many T1s. I actually had an endo appt today and she mentioned the Omnipod. I'm gonna look into it and price it out.

well I'm now on the Omnipod and Dexcom. The Pod is wild - no more MDI is such a game changer. And the way it calculates a target range and doses accordingly is so nice.

I'm on a trial period for now for both of them but I'm excited to see how this helps

I was diagnosed with T2 in October of ‘21 with my A1C being over 11%. I got my newest results back and I’m happy to say it was at 6.2!

Didn't expect to see you here, but damn nice job! How do you manage it? Diet and exercise? CGM?

Thanks Jordan! It was mainly Ozempic and dieting.

I was just put on ozempic, so Im hoping that helps with the weight loss as well (My high point was 200, and when I started ozempic I was around 185, and Im down to 175 now, but thats not entirely because of the meds...)

Im drinking less, and eating less (eating less could be rom ozempic)

    Nice A1C though! well done.
