Always hated the Cowgirls. I didn't actively hate the Macs or Stars just never paid attention really, grew up loving baseball and that's about it.
I'm not a sports fan, but living in Dallas my whole life, I've never understood the love for the Cowboys.
This is true. But I always hated them because my dad loved them and now my dad hates them because of Jerry Jones and now only cares about the Rangers.
Yeah, I mean I remember the days when they were pitted against the Bills and they would win championships and stuff, but that was FOREVER ago. They've been beyond laughable ever since but people always act like "this is gonna be their year"
I loved hearing fans of the 4-12 Cowboys tell me how garbage my 9-7 Texans are all the time. I get having faith in your team but they're always dicks about it.
Not a football fan at all but obviously pay attention to Texans since i live here(plus the wife is a fan), they should actually be pretty good again this year too, hopefully Osweiler is better than last year's QBs.
I want to watch the Stars game tonight but I don't think it'll be on local tv and I have my daughter so I can't go to the bar for it
Interning in Fort Worth this summer and open to any venue, bar, area, what have you recommendations. Only have tickets/planning on getting them for large shows, haven't looked at anything smaller. Always annoyed when searching for concerts on event search websites. Much rather look at individual venues.
I went to Go 4 It Sports Grill | Dallas, TX | Lake Highlands - Home last night for their wing special, and there were TONS of LITTLE kids there with their families watching the draft. I'm not sure if they'll be showing the Stars game, but it's definitely a family friendly bar. May be out of your way though, it's in East Dallas (Lakewood)
I'll be at The Rail Club in Ft. Worth tonight to see Randy and Lahey from the Trailer Park Boys. If you happen to be there, say what's up.
Anyone going to the Cursive show at the Gas Monkey tonight? Still trying to decide between that and Texas Frightmare for today. And that Scream event the other night was amazing! By far my favorite theatre experience.
My best friend (Feintlove) is opening, I may be going but I'm torn haha. Ticket price is discouraging me but I wanna see them.
No way, that's awesome! If I go, I'll make sure to get there in time for the openers then. Haven't seen Cursive in like 7 years, but they were always great live.
I am not exaggerating and am unbiased when I say they're my favorite band. Like even if Austin wasn't my friend I'd still put Feintlove over every band I listen to haha. I've never seen Cursive before but they bring back sooooo many memories.
Holy shit. Seriously? That's amazing. There was a Tenacious D cover band opening Friday night. How was the crowd on Thursday?
That's awesome, man. I'm a HUGE Trailer Park Boys fan. We had a great time Friday night. Got any other upcoming shows booked?
