any good stand up coming to town soon?

 

Shane Mauss will be at Hyena's next weekend (2/23-2/25). I might try to go to the Thursday show since there's no cover on Thursdays.

I also just grabbed tickets to see Stephen Lynch at the House of Blues in May.

Looking ahead, there are a few decent comics coming to Hyenas (Dan Cummins, Brian Posehn, Ben Bailey) but nothing too exciting.

I saw him at Hyena's a couple years ago and it was cool.

I would totally be down to see Shane, but couldn't go until Friday or Saturday.

I'm free next weekend though, lets all meet up for food or beer or shenanigans

 

Oh yeah, forgot about Segura on 420. I may try to go to that too.

 

I dunno if I can do Friday or Saturday next week yet, but as soon as I figure that out, I'll let you know.

 

oh no, if thursday is better for you then go thursday. wasn't trying to persuade you to change plans. just sayin that if i were to go see him it would have to be the weekend.

 

No not at all, man. I was only thinking about Thursday bc of the free cover but at this point, I'm not sure when or if I'll be able to go at all. I think it's only like $10 anyway so if the weekend works out, that would be cool.

Yeah, me too. He actually brought it through Dallas twice and I missed it both times.

 

What about Chris Rock or Jim Gaffigan at Winstar

 

I'd like to see Chris Rock but I don't know...

 

Ticket prices are a bit too rich for my blood

But it is Chris Rock...

 

Not only are tickets $65+fees, but the only remaining seats are all the way in the back. I've never been to Winstar before so I don't know what to expect but I don't want to pay that kind of money to sit in the last row.

 

I saw Blink there and its just a long flat room. You'd be a few hundred feet from the stage

 

That doesn't sound too bad. Was there a pit for Blink, or was the whole room standing room?

 

I think it was all chairs set out. Then again I was toward the back so I could be wrong

 

Chris Rock is great but it's the night before the Thursday show and right after our vacation.

But we should still all take a WInstar trip sometime.
