Recovering from Valentine's/buying too many concert tickets.

 

There are so many shows coming to town. Just found out about Run The Jewels and Purity Ring at Fortress Fest in Ft. Worth. Would love to go but those ticket prices are crazy.

 

I haven't been to a show in a good while. Hard for me to justify $40 on it right now

 

u better save up for jason isbell and mountain goats i was serious

i thought this thread was about the airport and came in to say that there is a pretty decent irish pub at Terminal D. but its about the city(s).

 

yeah ive been eying this one. a good lineup. purity ring, slowdive, alvvays are the main people i care for so im having a hard time justifying the price in my head...but i really want to see those three bands.

I wanna go to The Japanese House so badly and already know there's no way I can make it happen

 

Thats the worst. man. she's never been in these parts so i was quite dead set on going from the get go. but ya know, life stuff. i understand that. be a bummer you're missing out.

 

If I can switch days with my ex to watch the kids a different day I can go but I'm already guessing that'll be impossible

Such a shame, I hope it's a blast though

I need to check out slowdive and alvvays. I've had a few people recommend slowdive. I'd mainly be going for RTJ and Purity Ring, but I've wanted to see Purity Ring for a while, so that might push me.

 

Wolf Parade is another reason I want to go to that fest.

Love that band

 

Never heard of this band before, but I just listened to a couple random tracks on YouTube. Getting some strong Modest Mouse vibes. I can fuck with this.

I listened to the first three tracks. It's GOOD. Will have to listen to the rest tomorrow probably.
