I'd buy some low tops if he still sold them. and maybe one of those hats. don't like the rest of that for the prices

 

I went to Lockhart Smokehouse for the first time today. Oh my God.

 

What did you get?

 

We should all go to Beth Marie's ice cream in Denton

 

Brisket and jalapeño cheese sausage. Both were great, especially the brisket. It was up there with Gatlin's in Houston as the best I've had.

 

I googled and it looks both good and affordable. Already starting to get why everyone loves Denton.

its a bit counterproductive but sometimes i do yoga in the square in denton and then i eat beth maries afterwards. i mean, it weighs out in the end....i think.

 

The New Uptown Dallas Shake Shack Will Sell a Burger Topped With Pecan Lodge Sausage

 

Never been to a Shake Shack before, I'll have to check it out eventually. That reminds me I still need to get to Pecan Lodge.

 

I've never been to Shake Shack or Pecan Lodge either, but eventually is the right word. Lines will be insane for a while.

 

I went to Pecan Lodge for my birthday last year. Good stuff, need to go back

 

Oh Lodge! I read it as Pecan LOG and couldn't figure out how that could possibly be any good

 

Is it better than Lockhart's? I can't imagine that being possible but I want to find out.

Nice, the little places like that are usually the best!

Lockhart has a location in Bishop Arts and one in downtown Plano, which I'll be at way too often.

 

I'm gonna have to check them out. I'm sadly not very knowledgeable about dine in restaurants in Dallas so I need to get out to more

 

It's actually a whole lot better than Lockharts imo. Pecan Lodge is the one Dallas bbq that comes anywhere close to the quality of Hillcountry/Austin bbq.

 

Cool, in that case I'm gonna get there asap.

I do get paid this week. I can't think of a better use for that money than BBQ.
