Wish I could have gotten into Original Sin, but woof I gave up after episode 2. Just doesn't feel like Dexter. Slater is terrible casting for Harry. Matthews not being there makes no sense since he literally helped Harry cover up the death of Dexter's mom. Brian being psycho all along is ehh. Didn't need to watch Dexter do his first kill all over again, shot for shot but with different actors. Only positive I can say is the actor they cast to play Dexter was good. Everyone else felt like a caricature.
For sure. Only thing I really miss is Dexter working in forensics. Gave a good way for him to track down his victims, and his talents in his job was always fun to watch. Would be interesting if he just joins up with the NY police since the female investigator seemed to think Angel was nuts haha. Might be kind of a stretch though.
The female officer was probably my least favorite character, I never really like stone faced non emotional characters, even though yes there's clearly something from her past including Staying Alive which is the reason, but I just don't care enough
It's just sooooo on-the-nose for that kind of trope haha, the dancing in the last episode had me rolling my eyes The rest was great though
Yeah I completely forgot about seeing the announcements until I was watching that episode, it was great.
