They're leaning so far into the "who cares" side of continuity that it just might work

 

Resurrection in the title refers to every character from the original series.

 

Ok but, what if.......... You're kinda selling me on it

 

there's a murderer in the afterlife and dexter has to solve the demon case

 

His father is the afterlife killer huh

 

Heard nothing but bad things, but Showtime gonna Showtime

 

The pilot was a bit rough but episode 2 onwards really comes into its own and ends strong so I am happy it's been renewed for season 2

 

Well that makes me feel better because I did intend on watching it eventually.

 

Only bad things I’ve heard about it was here tbh, seemed to be well received elsewhere and I enjoyed it quite a bit, especially considering how bad the previews looked
