This first episode was REALLY bad. Every character was a parody of themselves. Only slightly bright spot is Christian Slater.

 

This was bad, but in a fun kinda way where I think I am going to keep watching.

 

Is there a more tortured TV fanbase than “Dexter”? Like even the ones that flamed out like “How I Met Your Mother” pretty much stopped at the original series. This just refuses to die, no matter how bad it gets.

 

Didn’t they make a whole sequel show to that lol

 

Yeah, and honestly it was kinda a fun watch

 

Showtime is trying revitalize itself I guess by going all in on expanded universe franchises.

Currently in development at Showtime: Dexter Resurrection. Trinity Killer spinoff series. 4 Billions spinoffs (Billions: Miami, Billions: London, Trillions, Millions), The L Word: New York. A Weeds sequel series.

There is also an upcoming series about a criminal fixer starring Tom Hardy that was originally going to be a spinoff of Ray Donovan until it got reworked into a standalone show.

 

Alright this show is actually pretty good. I'm surprised.

 

Is it though.....

 

Would rather them not do any more spinoffs. The only one I'd be interested in would be about Biney.

What the hell is Showtime doing? Does this actually get viewers?

 

My stepmom is very excited for it, I'll see at Christmas if she actually likes it

 

Can't wait to see how this shapes up. So we know it's set in New York City, and it's rumored that Harrison goes on a killing spree. It's intended to go on for multiple seasons. Maybe the rumored villain and his fixer hire Harrison to kill people and Dexter tries to stop him?

 

This is too much, there are too many, whyyyyy

 

I can't keep up anymore, but my mom raves about the Dexter show that is on now...

is the flashback show any good lol

 

I got like 5 episodes in and couldn’t be bothered to finish

 

i was morbidly curious and checked the wiki and saw they introduced a major character from the original series and was pretty puzzled lol

 

I'm enjoying it. The performances are pretty stellar. I also really like what they're doing with that major character.

 

My mom is obsessed with it and won’t stop texting me to watch it.
