that finale was brutal.

 

I’m about it. Some seasons were better than others, but I enjoy it overall. Didn’t really like the way they “ended” things.

 

Anything to fix that ending!

 

hopefully they just retcon the previous season and try again.

 

Oh fuck yea! My wife has never seen the show so we’ve rewatched the first two season and are onto the third. Glad to have Clyde back in the mix, the show really was something special the first half of its run.

 

Still seems crazy to me that it’s coming back. Dexter was the first “higher” quality tv that I got into. Don’t know if it really holds up now, but got me into other “prestige” tv shows like BB and Mad Men

 

Happy that the showrunner from season 1-4 came back on for this.

Yea, that’s got me pretty hyped haha.

My wife and I just got to S6. Man, do things really drop off after Clyde left following S4. I had forgotten how truly well done those first few seasons were. Rewatching them has me even more excited for a return.

 

S1 and S4 are my favs from what I remember

I don’t have showtime anymore so not even sure how I’ll watch this but at the same time, after one of the worst last seasons I can ever remember in television, not even that excited about it.

 

I’d probably rank very similarly. I haven’t watched 7 since it originally aired so I’ll have to see in a week or two how I feel.

 

I guess I have to watch this since I suffered through the tail-end of the original series lol. Agreed with everyone here that 1-4 were the best, though I remember 7 being good.

 

7 started great but lost steam fast half way through.

 

Is 7 the season with Colin Hanks and the dumb fight club twist

 

No that was 5 or 6, but that was definitely the worst season

 

Idk 8 was so bad I gave up lol

Can not remember what happens in 7 at all lol

 

6 and 8 are two of the all time worst seasons of anything lol.

 

What happens in 7?

 

I think thats when his sister realizes he’s a killer.

 

I can’t remember exactly why but I do think back on the first half of that season being great and then it just cratering.

I’m about to do a series rewatch and am dreading those later seasons.
