Last night’s episode was great. Glad we finally got some realistic human responses from Lily during her conversation with Katie.
Kenton's going to wind up causing whatever's going to happen when Lily decides to go to the Devs lab and he goes after her, I'm sure.
Ngl, when the camera focused on the pen, I thought Katie saw a reality where Lily stabs her with it so Katie was just moving it out of her arm's reach hah
Also really interested/curious in Stewart and Lyndon's relationship and where that is gonna go. I'm sure it will lead into the end of the transmission that Katie was talking about also.
Finally watched the first episode and some of the acting was rough at times. Definitely felt less cinematic as well. Had some parts I liked, though, and curious to see where it goes.
Yeah I mean to be fair, it really is hard to compare the two because they're totally different genres lol so it is very subjective. I love both shows, but I connect with the characters in BCS more, and this season has been the best and most intense so far imo
I really think it's just the way her character is written tbh. I've heard only positive things about that actor in her other roles.
She's written as an avoidant self-isolating person. I think she struggles with connecting with people, making them feel included in her life. Jamie has called her out on it a few times, and the way she lies to her mom on the phone, etc... That last episode where she tells Jamie to join her in bed was a really nice moment of character development for her, and I really warmed up to her performance in that scene.
