The Detroit Institute of Arts and Vault of Midnight are my happy places.

 

I would like to start spending more time in Detroit because Ann Arbor is too expensive.

I have somehow never been to the DIA but I'm hoping to change that soon!!!

I’m from the suburbs, so maybe it’s just me, but I hate the roads downtown.

maybe a long shot, but any michiganders play in or know any area bands that you could pass along for me to reach out to for show availability purposes? my cleveland band is looking for someone to fill out a potential bill at blacklist provisions in eastpointe (i guess any info about the venue would be welcome too. seems like a punk headshop lol but idk. baby’s first time playing outside of ohio). bonus points for an artist not playing pug fest, cus our date is the weekend after that

Do my band has got a show in Cleveland on 2/3, and we decided to try to put together a somewhat short-notice show for Feb 2nd, wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a small venue/DIY space i could cast a line to. I reached out to outer limits lounge yesterday, but would like to try a few spots. Band is kind of a post-punk thing, if that helps to specify the vibe.
