So this is interesting. Like Smith said in an interview with Edge Magazine that the end cutscene shows the near-term and long-term plans for D2. Unknown Player and a lot of other people are speculating that this means it's telling us where the expansions take place.

The first place the Traveler's light touches is Mercury (Curse of Osiris). The second place it touches is Mars (speculating that the Warmind DLC has to do with Charlemegne. An adventure on Io also seemingly ends with an unknown Warmind taking control of your Ghost and saying something about "red sand" and "ice caps," so that hints at Mars further). The third place is the Reef (Queen returns and we face the Queen's Brother and House Kings). The fourth place is the Dreadnought and Saturn (Savathun). And then finally it goes all the way out to the Darkness ships.

So if there are only going to be two years between D2 and D3, this makes sense I suppose. Instead of quick DLCs after Warmind we'd get two huge, TTK-sized ones with the Fallen and Savathun. I was expecting Savathun to be next fall, just because it's a big enough threat to be the first big expansion, but I guess it makes sense that they wouldn't want to have everyone criticize them for doing "TTK 2" and all that. But if there are going to be three years again, well, that's not enough content. It'd be exactly the same as D1, actually, which they said they wouldn't do again. Not that we should trust anything Bungie says, of course.

My only other question would be who the enemy faction will be for the Warmind DLC? It wouldn't be the Vex. Wouldn't be the Fallen either if they're next after it. Wouldn't be the Cabal since we just had them. And the Hive have no presence on Mars, plus Savathun is coming after the Fallen. Maybe they'll actually ::GASP:: add a new enemy faction! Like, the frames, maybe? Nah, too much work. It'll probably just be the Cabal again because screw us, we'll buy it anyway.

 

I'm really hoping that the Prestige mode raid is fairly different than the OG raid. My usual fireteam has gotten to the point where we're a well oiled machine for the most part and last night we blew through gauntlet, garden, and baths in less than 45 minute with Calus only taking like 3 tries or so due to some silly mistakes. Also a little annoyed with the raid loot system. You should get a weapon or armor for completing every encounter, yet I usually end up only getting stuff on two of them and then tokens on the third.

 

Yeah they aren't doing much to change it except for cranking up the enemies' tankiness. There will be minor mechanics changes but nothing huge, they said. Probably two extra dogs in the pleasure gardens, for example. Also are you on Xbox or PS4, because if PS4 I need to raid with you guys haha

 

since Warframe is now my second job i wont be playing this as much but ill still play with you all when youre on. i mean shit im willing to turn my PS4 on and chat with you all in party while i play WF on my computer lol

 

Prestige Raid Changes so far:

Dying makes you lose your raid token

Gauntlet: You can only run once, projections spawn during running, three orbs during the last phase
Gardens: 8 dogs
Baths: Bathers spawn more frequently, drop an AOE on the ground that takes away 5 stacks per second of the buff instead of 1

Prestige raid looks miserable, will never do it

Not only are there 8 dogs, they're probably also harder to kill because of the increased power level. Might need 4 stacks to do what 2 stacks used to, for instance.

I'm on PS4, and I'd be down to put a fireteam together to help some people get it done! Not sure what nights you guys would usually be free to do it but I typically have enough time to raid Sunday-Thursday nights any time after 8pm (EST) and can at least find a couple of my friends who'd be down to help too. Tbh my usual group just kinda randomly does it any night that we all happen to be on haha not structured at all

 

Any night at or after 8 is good for me. Just post in here when you're getting a group together and tag me.
