Yeah sure except there’s nothing to collect except exotics and even then the game discourages us from keeping them thanks to how small our vaults are. Also there’s literally anti grinding measures in the game like exotics and legendary engram drops being on a cool down and tokens being a limited currency and having no real reason to do the raid or trials or IB or strikes or any of that stuff

Fuck you Luke. You’re a prime example of a dev who doesn’t play their own game nor understands what makes it great

 

Yeah he's so out of touch it's not even funny. And like just sticking to his guns re: random rolls, when the community is crying out for them to come back, is ridiculous. And that's not even mentioning the content from D1 that inexplicably didn't make the jump to D2. Bring back random rolls, bring back perks on armor (especially raid, Trials, and IB armor), bring back the missing content from D1 Y3. It's that simple, that's what the majority of people want to make the game better.

Also yeah come on with that "collection game" garbage. Who wants to collect palette-swapped weapons, the vast majority of which aren't even good. The only reason I've collected anything is because Bungie is so arbitrary with their nerf bat that I never know what palette-swapped gun that's trash now is going to be meta in the future.

This PR doublespeak is getting really infuriating, and honestly I'm starting to really buy into the theory that they're holding off on saying anything needs to outright be fixed or changed until PC launches because they think it'll hurt sales. Problem is, the negative buzz in the community is already going to do that anyway.

 

Bungie should be shut down.

 

The thing that scares me is PC players will FUCKING TEAR THIS GAME TO SHREDS once it comes out. PC players have so many better alternatives. Warframe, Path Of Exile, Skyforge, hell even Overwatch and HoTS which are also in the Blizzard launcher are better as of right now

unless you have a group that can execute doing the bare minimum of getting passed the shadow realm, the calus cheese is the most time consuming and aggravating process.

 

I’ll be on tomorrow to attempt to finish my IB armor set. It’s sad that I can grind this much and not get a full set or all the weapons I want. Just have vendors carry a rotating stock of items in addition to the engrams. Wish they’d add post activity rewards as well. Never thought I’d miss that screen so much but it was another way to get items and COLLECT things.

 

I've received 9 packages so far. I have gotten the pulse rifle four times and the hunter chest three.

No joke, the pulse is good. Real good. It's easily the best IB weapon and has the potential to be a god-tier PVP weapon if pulse rifles are ever the meta. But yeah getting it four times in a row sucks. But check out this video about it, Cool Guy does a great job of selling why it could be great one day.

 

Yeah, I'm not at all mad at the two pieces I've gotten (and pretty happy about the pulse) just...getting them repeatedly. I just want that damn cloak.

 

I know, the dupes are a joke. That's why the package system doesn't work by itself. The packages should take longer to get, but there should also be drops at the end of matches like there used to be. That way, you're constantly getting drops and the packages just supplement it. And getting dupes isn't as big of a deal because you're getting drops every couple of matches.

Man. Private matches look fun. I miss them.

 

Has anyone done the raid with guided games? I did the nightfall the other day, and it only took maybe 10 min to find a game. The raid I swear it took over 45 min so I ended it. Though it was on a Monday. I’m wondering if I would have better luck on a Friday.

 

If anyone wants to squad up for some milestones tonight around 7 let me know.

 

I haven't used it yet for anything, keep forgetting it's a thing. I should try it though.
