Finally finished the story today, and didn't realize how invested I was in some of the characters such as Hawthorne and Ikora. The possibility of them dying made me think twice about finishing the story. I probably should have finished it earlier, but instead got caught having fun/grinding public events. Today I got a few sick exotic armor pieces, and its such a bummer I cannot wear the helmet and chest plate.

At 263, but want to get to 270 before trying out Raid.

 

I'm sorry once again for getting flung ahead and not killing the projection. I'm still pissed at myself for that one.

Still had a good time. Going to attempt to LFG tomorrow after work to hopefully finish it.

 

Whoever is on at 940 pm est tomorrow, I'm going to try again!

I may/may not be willing to give it another go tomorrow night after work. Not sure I feel like sacrificing another night to this haha.

Yes, echoing another thanks to @Anthony_D'Elia for everything. I kind of want to finish it up tomorrow but...I'll get it done eventually and holy shit I need a break from this game as much as I love it. There's been...too much Destiny in the past 24-48 hours.

 

I know right? Too much, too much.

If I do play tomorrow night, probably won't for the rest of the week, haha.

my cousin showed me his loot route on Nessus and he got so lucky today while I got trash.

 

I'm dreading having to use the LFG today after work to try and finish Calus. I just want to get it done.

 

This thread is crazy now. Sad you are all mostly on ps4. Happy people love the game. I'm cruising along on xbox1.

It's really awesome to see how positive of an experience everyone is having compared to the launch of the first one. They really seemed to have learned from the original launch.

 

Is the app LFG the best bet for finding a group for a raid, or should I be looking somewhere else like on reddit or something?

 

I've always used /r/fireteams and made my own LFG group so I can filter out the jerks. I always say no assholes, must be patient, no racism/homophobia or hate speech in general, etc. that seems to get me pretty good groups from there

I've never used the app but fireteams and sherpas on reddit are really helpful pretty consistently. I gotta say the Destiny fan base is faaaaaaar kinder and more welcoming than, say, the Halo fan base. Even in Crucible aside from people using emotes rarely have I ever had anyone just fly off the handle at me.

 

my new work schedule is not conducive to raiding on weeknights unless people are up way late, alas.

Noob question.. how do I join a clan? I'm on Xbox.


EDIT: Also, Heroic Public Events, does it say on the map if it's heroic?

 

Each event becomes heroic if you complete a certain action during the event.

 

You need to be invited to a clan by one of their admins.

I can't promise to always have room in my fireteam but if anyone needs a clan you can join mine. Just let me know.
