Ok so I'm gonna shoot for 2:00 p.m. EST for the raid run on Saturday if that's cool with everyone. Like this post if you're going to be there.

Yeah we actually did manage to finish it. It was me, this one kid I play with often, and then four randoms. Got that emblem though, and now I'm ready to go through again with you all on my 297 titan.

 

so apparently if someone in your clan, or maybe it has to be a fireteam of clan members idk, completes the raid we ALL get a piece of raid equipment that drops at PL 10 so we can infuse it. thats wild.

D2 already has a better balance of content for both casual and hardcore players so someone like me who works two jobs i really appreciate being able to at least have the chance of getting some good raid gear even if i cant always make it to the raids weekly.

 

Xur is on Nessus, pops up on the map. He has:

Merciless
Raiden Flux (Hunter chest armor)
Wings of Sacred (Warlock chest armor)
Doom Fang Pauldrons (Titan Gauntlets)

 

Did the nightfall with plenty of time left for the rat king tonight. This week is probably the best time to try and get the rat king, It only took us three attempts to beat it with like 7 and a half minutes left.

 

Everyone that wants to do the raid should think about buying the Merciless from Xur. It's pretty amazing for pretty much the whole thing, even the end.

 

I'm seriously in love with this game. I honestly haven't felt a "grind" yet. I'm taking my time with everything. Haven't even been past Nesssus yet. Been just trying to find all the lost sectors/chests on Earth/Titan.

Got a ton of good gear while getting tokens from public events, and lost sectors. Got my first exotic weapon.

Now I'm power lvl 220, and gonna beat the story tomorrow probably. I should be raid ready by Sunday. Hopefully.

 

I'm at 270, and now I feel like my progress is at a stand still haha

 

Have you done your milestones this week already? Have you done the MIDA and Sturm quests? Other than that, exotic engrams are really the only way to keep moving forward other than the raid.

 

I haven't got to play as much as I've wanted to this week but I should finally hit lvl 20 tonight. Sitting at 19 with 191 power. Still need to finish the campaign but I keep getting sucked in to adventures/patrols and public events. Hopefully I can grind away this weekend and be raid ready early next week.

Yeah, besides the nightfall and raid. I'm doing the MIDA and Sturm quests now.

can we just step back and appreciate how ludicrously big titans shoulder armor is now i love it

i want D1 armor sets back in D2 tho. those rise of iron sets are still my favorite sets of armor

 

I'm not going to lie, I'm kinda upset I didn't have to search for Xur.

 

Definitely do the exotic quests first, then the Nightfall. Gotta get you to 280 so you can start crafting mods! Also, on the subject of mods, make sure you check to see if any of your weapons or armor already has them on; if any do, those are the things you wanna keep around for now and prioritize infusion to. And check your mod inventory too if you haven't already, you may have legendary loss in there to apply to things for a free +5 power boost.

Also, apologies if I'm saying things you already know, not trying to be condescending or pedantic. Like a friendly local weed dealer, I just want to get everyone as high as possible!

 

i'm fine with him having a waypoint on the map. it was fun looking for him at first but after a while it got old in D1


funnily enough Warframe also has a "Xur" named Baro Kiteer and he also has a waypoint when he arrives. just a nice QOL feature.

I'm def not gonna be around Sat for a raid but if any of y'all are up late during the week hmu. Otherwise prob gonna try those guided raids

 

bought the gun and armor from xur now to do my three hours of grinding for the day and hopefully reach 260.

 

Still inching up. Didn't realize the the clan engrams drops higher level gear, that's cool.

 

Im on the same boat. Started last night at 265 and after like 3 hours only got up to 269 and thats mostly just due to the Nightfall and random legendary engrams. In comparison, the two nights before I increased like 15-20 points each.

 

Anyone get a chance to see what level you have to be to equip the exotics that Xur is selling? I assume 20 because they're a 270 but I'm not sure. I want to buy that Warlock chest and give it to my third character, but he's still leveling up to 20 and early in the campaign.

 

Excited to buy from Xur tonight before doing the raid. How much does merciless cost? Wonder if I have enough shards...

Getting above 265 was annoying for me since I just kept getting 260 drops. then I finished 2 milestones to wrap up the night and got some nice gear that boosted me to 269.
