I didn't get very far in D1, so I have no idea what any of this stuff means. I just equip whatever does the most damage and go about my business.
I also have no idea what any of this stuff means. Is is just changing the color of your gear? If so, why bother as it changes so frequently?
I mean I'm not mad about it like some people, just seems like an odd change. Like, there are other things they left exactly the same (character creation for instance), I just don't get what was wrong with the previous system. Idk, more curious than anything
Luke Smith explained it well, I think. The shaders allow for more of replay factor now, especially since certain sets can only be earned in certain locations. If you have an EDZ shader and you only get it once and have it forever, it doesn't encourage more exploration of the EDZ to get more. The people that are overacting are ridiculous because they act like its impossible to get enough shaders to satisfy your needs.
Yeah I just looked up his tweets on it, I think that's a pretty fair explanation, and the new system seems to promote more customization which is cool.
got my titan looking slick as shit ill post a pic later hit lvl 20 and im starting to gear up. got a ways to go im only PL 212 but the activities are so enjoyable ill prob hit a raid ready level by tonight or tomorrow.
Yeah I'm 20 now, power level 219 so I'm getting there. Not sure when I'll be raid ready. Hopefully soon, and hopefully I can get a group together easily so I can actually play the raids this time
I'm like 272 so I'm golden, sweet. I was worried it was going to be 280-300 and I wouldn't be quite ready for it on Wednesday.
I hit 282. Damn, now I am over-leveled. Kind of takes the fun out of the raid. Hopefully its still challenging.
I'm level 18 and Power level 183 but I haven't even finished the story yet so I think I'm good. I'll be there by Wednesday.
im down to raid whenever. the shield titan has been fun but now that i have my hammer titan unlocked im pretty much only playing it. im interested to see just how far bungie is willing to go with "mechanics" in these new raids. ive accepted that with it being an fps they are a little limited in what they can do with raid mechanics but im excited to see whats in store for us with this new raid.
Yeah, I'm really, really excited to see what they have in store for this raid. Even with being limited by the genre they've managed to do a ton of really cool, unique and exiting things in raids. I hope/have a feeling they'll do something really cool for the first raid of a new game.
I hope so too. The only raids that really stuck the first time were King's Fall and Vault of Glass. My raid group didn't even finish Wrath of the Machine (I did but I had to go rogue with another group).
If anyone hasn't done the side mission Road Rage on Io, do it now! Best side mission ever and I hope your catch the movie reference while you are doing it.
I wish the music on Titan was a bit more "tense" because I loved the design to that level. I felt like I was constantly waiting for something to jump out.
