Man I'm just a crap player than haha. Like it seems like everyone uses the heavy weapon but I just stick to the default.
Like any shooter, it takes practice. Destiny flows differently than a lot of other FPS's. Kill times are faster than Halo but slower the CoD. All the movement abilities disrupt the natural rhythm of most gunfights, especially 1v1s. The supers and other powers add extra layers of strategy and more things to worry about having to counter. I can say that when I first started playing Destiny I was not very good at all. Now when I play PVP I almost never have a match K/D below 1.5. It's a combination of skill improvement and getting good loot drops too. Don't give up!
I just can't believe it's finally almost here. I think back to the reveal event in May and it feels like a lifetime ago. I can't take the waiting anymore.
I think that's my biggest issue with the PS4 controller. It's not ergonomically designed like the Xbox controller. You are not the first person I have heard that has suffered this issue.
Borealis, a sniper that lets you swap between the three damage types. Also there's an exclusive ship, I guess.

Sad those rumors about two story missions being added to Destiny 1 today weren't true. That would've been cool.
When Destiny came out, I had much more time on my hands for gaming. Now with my daughter being 3 and my second daughter arriving in October, I fear that I won't be able to invest the time in D2. I enjoyed the beta, and hope that the story will be decent this time. What is the situation with Xur, coins and exotics? Is that all staying that same or will it be new? Also, are legendary weapons still going to be the top weapons? I have a lot of questions.
Regarding Xur, it was just revealed that Xur will be retuning but with some changes. Instead of appearing in a location within one of the social spaces, Xur will be in a random location in one of the four patrol zones. Going to be a lot harder to find him now. Also, instead of taking strange coins, you're going to be buy things from him using a new currency called "legendary shards." These can be obtained by dismantling legendary and exotic weapons, which apparently yield 2 and 10 shards respectively. As to legendaries, the loot tiers are staying the same. The only tweak seems to be that exotics are no longer as powerful as some of them were in Destiny 1. They seem like they're just legendaries with like a niche ability that sets them apart but doesn't totally break the game. Seems like they learned their lesson after things like the No Land Beyond and Icebreaker broke the special ammo economy in the first game.
Okay, it wasn't, because once I logged in with my PSN account, the page doesn't give me an option, and just shows the absolutepunk clan that I had joined. How do I leave it? lol
