My biggest issue with the Spider/Wanted Bounties stuff is that you have to go out of your way to get to him. There's really no other reason to go to the Tangled Shore besides Spider and then you have to spend a minute traveling from the spawn point to get to him.
Other than buying stuff from Spider, the Tangled Shore is a great way to farm glimmer with the Spider's daily bounties.
Each raid has its own required power level. Your character level isn't what's important after level 30, it's your gear level that counts.
Really the only good thing about Osiris was the raid lair, Argos is one of the best boss fights in the history of the franchise imo
I'm super confused on how to get full armor sets, so each world vendor has them? Have to grind world to get resources for them? If i wanted to buy an armor set from Eververse is that possible, can't seem to find it anywhere. Doing Warmind now.
Are strikes the same thing as raids? Is there a central menu where all raids are located or is it just dependent on where it is, earth, mars, etc.
Raids are 6-player endgame activities that don't have matchmaking. They're accessible from where they're located.
They don’t need to be friends, you can find people on r/fireteams or on one of the Destiny LFG websites. The Destiny companion mobile app also has an LFG feature on it.
Finally got the first step of the Thorn quest complete. Was stuck getting the percent up to maybe 14% then dropped back down to 0%. Had a good two matches this morning finishing up the weekly crucible 5 so I decided to keep going. Key is to hang back and always find someone to hang with. Steal kills if necessary. I hate crucible players that crunch on snipers. I refuse to pick up that playstyle.
I've been sniping a lot recently as I've been working on the Revoker quest, and I can see why so many people love to lean on that playstyle. I've even been going full-toxic and using the Last Word as my primary lol. I've never been a good sniper in Destiny but I can actually feel myself getting better at it from all the practice I've had (also helps that I have a Beloved with a really good roll haha).
TLW + Fate Cries Foul with snapshot, outlaw, target adjuster + lucky pants on my hunter with enhanced hand cannon targeted, handling, and dexterity on the rest of my armor is my pvp loadout and i get some v questionable kills with it hahah
Forsaken is so rad. Just did the mission where you fight all of the Baron's after doing The Spider's bounties. Very, very cool. Feels like an entire new game.
Took me FOREVER to figure that out. Since a lot of the google searches still had the original way. I honestly didn't do any bounties until I had to for a Foresaken mission.
My biggest takeaway after a week of playing again is that infusion is way harder. Do they not want me to infuse stuff? It sort of makes the power grind weird, because I have to use a ton of blues. Like until I’m max level, I have to constantly change armor/weapons to whatever is highest.
I've played like probably 20 hours over the last few weeks and I still don't know what a lot of people are taking about in this thread.
