Honestly I never thought I'd be a part of it either. But I did the two-character leveling strategy (my third character wasn't high enough) and got my titan up to 732 by the weekend, then spent four straight nights banging my head against the wall until I finally got into an LFG group that was able to do it. It's definitely doable. Next time!
Been getting back into this the last few days. I still had a bit of Forsaken to finish up, and now working on that quest to get to the Dreaming City. I think my power level is capped at 500 until I do that. Might buy the pass pretty soon if I keep this up and run out of stuff to do lol. Haven’t even touched Gambit, excited to give that a try.
If you buy the Forsaken deluxe edition for $40 it comes with every piece of Destiny 2 content so far. If you have everything up until Forsaken, you just need the Annual Pass.
Bungie will be live on the E3 Coliseum stream at 12:00 p.m. PST/3:00 p.m. EST talking Shadowkeep and the future of Destiny 2
Think I’m finally just gonna say fuck it to my backlog, and hop back on. Never finished the Forsaken questline.
You need to have the two year 1 DLC's (Curse of Osiris and Warmind) to play Forsaken because Activision. I believe if you preorder the Shadowkeep digital deluxe edition for $60 you get everything along with it (I would confirm this before you do though), so instead of paying $40 for the Forsaken bundle you may as well do that.
Forgot to update my raid ranking after I finished Crown of Sorrow: King's Fall Wrath of the Machine Vault of Glass Last Wish Crown of Sorrow Scourge of the Past Crota's End Eater of Worlds Leviathan Spire of Stars
Yeah I realized that I need to look at the raids objectively and separate them from the subjective experience of trying to run them with an LFG group. From a game design, art design, and lore perspective, King's Fall is number one.
One thing that doesn't get discussed enough with regard to raids in Destiny is that there have only been two total raids that don't have a pre-final boss encounter in the same room as the final boss, and they're both in Destiny 2: Leviathan and Last Wish. I kind of wish Bungie would change this formula up more.
