Worse. The aura kept landing on my side the first go 'round, I'm experienced so I'd hold it for the maximum time possible, and then adds would kill them in between damage phases. I shit you not, they couldn't stay alive in between damage phases. LFG problems, man.
Wow, I can understand maybe one person new/inexperienced with the raid going down from the ogre alcolyte bastards or maybe the yellow knight once. but multiple times is inexcusable. Hopefully you'll get a better group or if you need another person and I'm on shoot me an invite!
fusion grenades are my newest pet peeve. They're everywhere in crucible now and that magnetism and tracking is ridiculous.
Not gonna lie, I always run stickies when I'm playing Sunbreaker, Defender, and Sunsinger. It's frustrating that it's a one-hit kill but I can't pretend I don't also take advantage. And I exclusively wear Armamentarium when I'm playing titan so I always have extra lol.
hahaha you are the perfect example of my anger the last couple days in crucible. I can't fault anyone for using them, but their prevalence is staggering. I just ask that hunters get tripmines to stick again and throwing knives to OHK to make it somewhat more competitive
For real, removing trip mines' ability to stick was so boneheaded. They didn't even stick guaranteed every time, you had to get really good at throwing them properly to make them stick. I know I practiced a ton to get good at it. Such a weird nerf.
my favorite was throwing a knife at a charging titan that didn't have jugshield on. with the double knife, instant knife regen, and then ahamkara for the double trips, i was slinging them everywhere back in the day. I miss it :(
Gunslinger was one of my favorite PVP classes in Y2 and was easily the most fun Hunter class. Now when I PVP with my Hunter I usually just run Nightstalker for the wombo combo. I would go Bladedancer with Shinobu's Vow but the super is so lackluster. At least with tether and double smokes I can help my team.
PSA: the Keystone scout rifle on sale from Dead Orbit this week has Reflex sight - Explosive Rounds - Perfect Balance/Outlaw - Crowd Control. This is as good as it gets for PVE and with Explosive Rounds this gun will one-shot shanks in WotM. Definitely pick it up if you need a high-impact scout rifle for PVE.
All the YouTubers and press getting those boxed invites have just ratcheted up the hype to unprecedented levels. Having to wait 16 days for the presentation is unbearable. What are everyone's thoughts on the whole "Welcome to a World Without Light" thing? I'm mostly interested in what it means for our abilities. Will sunbreaker/stormcaller/nightstalker come back since those classes aren't from the Light/Traveller, for example?
I really should play Destiny because I need to fill in the Iron Banner Rank 5 node in the record book, but Prey is so good it's hard to tear myself away.
I spent most of the day yesterday collecting dead ghosts in crucible maps and elsewhere as well as calcified fragments I had still left to get. Hadn't had a lazy off day In awhile so I took advantage of the time to chill and play. Working on completing this book....... 71% I think. Shouldn't have a problem getting 100%.
It's weird, like, I want that t-shirt but at the same time I am having such a hard time mustering the will to play Destiny lately. I got burnt out on raiding pretty quickly just because it's so hard to find good groups and I can only wipe on Templar after having already used my super and all my heavy ammo so many times. Maybe I should get back into PVP exclusively for a while once I finish Prey.
I'm kinda the opposite, I play so much elimination/trials during the week that the raids are what got me re-energized on the game. We should play some crucible sometime this week, either iron banner or elimination or something!
I'm down for that. Going to need to practice a bit first and shake the rust off; I haven't PVP'd in a loooooooooooooongggggggggggg time.
