I've kinda stepped back from the game for a bit mostly due to being super busy & my OG ps4 shitting the bed, but I got a new one on black friday, so if y'all needed a sixth man I'll probably be available all weekend (any time at night). Getting on after this HoTS game. Down to do pretty much anything except that fucking raid

 

played for a little bit but no one was on. did some crucible and tried to do the flashpoint this week but i just wasnt having fun :/ im hoping, im really really hoping because i love this franchise very much, im hoping CoO is the defibrillator shock that can jolt this flatlining game because honestly with the way Bungie has handled all of this and the pretty visceral reaction from the playerbase we may not get a Destiny 3.

to the last point though, i think Destiny 2s biggest mistake is existing. Destiny was marketed as being an MMOFPS, taking the best parts of Halo and World Of Warcraft together and blending them. The reason WoW has been incredibly successful and why its still the king of retaining a playerbase is how Blizz handles content updates. If we had gotten a WoW 2 that probably wouldve really thrown a lot of people off and caused them to quit. I have a Shaman that ive been playing for a long, long, long time and i have a lot of memories attached to that character. if Blizz had taken him away from me, say somewhere around the Cataclysm expansion, idk if i wouldve kept playing at all. The old content is still avaliable for us to do, hell its pretty great way to make some money or make a dope looking fashion/transmog, in addition to whatever the newest expansions bring. if Bungie couldve somehow found a way to just stay within Destiny and just keep hammering out expansions along with QoL patches it may have made all the difference for some of us. Destiny 2 was a fresh beginning in all the wrong ways, we lost our guardians and our stockpiles of equipment and our swathes of great content and in return we got tokens.

The climb to 300 from 290 is quite slow ;-;

 

It's a pain for sure, but there's no real need to try and push yourself to get 300 at this point with the changes/level cap increase/DLC coming in a couple days.

 

For me the slowest was 280 to 290.

 

I honestly don’t even remember how I got to 305 it just kind of happened

 

the worst part is it doesnt mean anything. i felt no more powerful at 305 than i did at 260.
