if you ever see my online this week definitely send me an invite and i'm down to help do whatever you need/want
don't be deceived, i'm not here to help you. im here to join your fireteam and party chat and talk shit on you the entire time
Stressful af but felt a sense of accomplishment after Thing is everyone I was playing with already did it a few times so it wasn't so bad lol I also pick things up quickly which helps I don't mind it but I can't play every week. I wanted to make sure I did this one at least once.
It really sucks that something I have loved for the last couple years has such a hostile and toxic community. But that seems to be the growing trend lately anyway.
Deej said that the blog post will have concrete plans and release dates for said plans, so we'll see how it goes
The problem is, there is NOTHING they can outline that will be good enough for what has now turned into a mob with torches and pitchforks
I disagree completely. Yeah, the community has gotten bad, but honestly it’s with good reason. The experience throttling thing was the straw that broke the back of everyone it seems. I still enjoy playing this game but they really need to make some improvements
I mean, in my opinion, there's no good reason for the way people have been acting about it. You have people attacking other people because they still have fun with it. Anyone who moderately stands up for how hard it is for these people to do their job gets roasted and made to feel unwelcome. It's exhausting. I can't even go into a stream and watch Gothalian play Fortnite without the entire chat just shitting on Bungie.
Like, everyone has a right to be disappointed in the product. But if you hate it that much just move along. There's millions of games out there.
Why would I want to move along, instead of calling for them to improve on it though? Just giving up on a game that does still have potential to be great isn’t a good idea to me. Id rather voice my opinion and have them work to make the changes that are needed instead of just letting them coast by and not improve it. And considering I’ve already purchased the game, yeah, I’m going to want them to deliver a better experience since I’m already invested in it.
And I don’t think people should be attacking someone who enjoys it. Parts of the community are very toxic and shitty and need to take a step back. But others are making valid points and criticisms that should be addressed
