Yeah typically they never reveal anything regarding the raids until right before. That’s when we’ll probably get challenges for the leviathan and maybe a vex hord mode

 

It would be such a slap in the face to just do challenges for the current raid

the trailer makes it sound like some VoG enemies might be coming back though, I wonder if we end up back there at some point

 

id bet money we get a new raid and a remastered VoG. Bungie will probably find a way to fuck it up tho. idk maybe with the live team back itll be good.

Thats not at all what I expected Osiris to look like but I dig it. Dudes got some crazy good aimbot tho

"New raid content" is so carefully worded that I'm personally taking it as confirmation there will be no new raid. If there was going to be a new raid they would've just said "New Raid."

Maybe it's VoG reworked, so they didn't want to flat out say new raid so there wouldn't be massive backlash

 

Yeah I mean idk I've seen that theory and I don't see how they could justify doing that either. Like, what, there's a second VoG on Mercury? Also wouldn't people be cheering for VoG reworked? Everyone still loves it, after all.

I think it potentially means more stages are going to be added to the Leviathan. The real Calus (or whatever is impersonating him) is still out there, after all.

 

Yeah, an expansion of Leviathan is along the lines of what I'm expecting.

 

I read a theory that maybe there's a second way into the VoG on Mercury that would lead into it being reworked. I think people would be excited, but I also think if they came out and said "New Raid" but it was just VoG reworked, people would throw a fit that they're paying for an expansion that has a raid from a previous game.

I could see that too. It's going to be interesting to see what they end up doing. Thankfully it's only a month wait to find out.

 

Lol oh man, now the European trailer for Curse of Osiris says "Autumn 2018" at the end under the image for DLC2. So that'll be fun to speculate about while Bungie refuses to clarify for months.

I think I'm gonna stop playing this game until the DLC drops unless theres a special event like Iron Banner or Faction Rally. I'm so bored with getting the same exact drops constantly, along with having very little reason to play in general.

 

There will literally be both before the DLC.

It was actually the Australian trailer and the reason is because I forgot how seasons work in the Southern Hemisphere lol

 

It would have been such a good idea to have a third and possibly even forth tier of the public events. That would be fun if the difficulty just kept ramping up.

They said not this year, for whatever reason. Probably still smarting from the community drubbing they (deservedly) took last year after Festival of the Cost.
