ran the raid with some randoms. it was stressful but we did it. now up to 295 PL, got Uriels and some new exotic boots but they arent very useful so i might just dismantle them.

am still down to do trials later tho

this review does a very good job of summing up my thoughts on this game, albeit I think I may be a bit more positive than Skill Up is (hes great btw def subscribe to him). I love Destiny, I love its lore, I love its gameplay, I love its grind, I love the community, I love the mix of fantasy and sci fi, I love the gear and the armor and all of that stuff. BUT, this doesnt feel like a sequel and more-so like a soft reboot of sorts. Its unfair to compare D2 to D1 since D1 has 4 expansions and a load of content with it, but there are some things that have been removed for seemingly no reason and I was hoping D2 would BUILD on top of D1 instead of basically being a new clean slate. I'm sure once an expac or two comes out then the game will be astoundingly loaded with things to do, but for now its just a very good game that I wish had taken the foundation of D1 and built on it.

I'm hoping in the coming weeks Bungie can add some new stuff or tweak existing grievances while also saving the BIG changes for the xpacs. I'd really really like to see 8v8 or 16v16 crucible at some point, I'd like to see a lot more strikes and especially some old strikes return. In my ideal world Bungie could find a way to incorporate ALL of the old D1 raids/activities into D2 and just expand the game ten fold but I'd imagine that would be quite the challenge for the devs. I'd like to see random rolls on weapons/armor return, I'd like to see them stop re-coloring old weapons/armors for the factions plus more returning exotics would be nice, I'd like to see the grimoire added into the game itself, I'd like to see strike specific gear return, the list goes on but basically theres missing features that I'm not sure why theyre missing and some odd design choices that I hope get fixed soon but I still love the game and I still love playing with you guys and I cant wait to see what bungie has in store for us.

How's everyone's Trials of MIDA Multi-tool going?

 

I played very very badly in Trials last night but it was all worth it for the intro where our entire team did the chicken dance, laughed every time

 

It was probably the best moment of trials I have ever had.

And you did amazing last night!! How many CLUTCH diffusions did you get that saved our ass? A lot.

 

i feel like i provided moral support during trials and that's about it haha

 

your call outs were on point and that won us several rounds when there was just one or two of us alive.

 

had to find a way to contribute sonehow! seriously though, i haven't played a MP game that relies heavily on communication and a squad that actually does that in a long time so that was really cool.
