Dessa will release her new album, Chime, on February 23rd. The new single “Fire Drills” is now up on Spotify and Apple Music and pre-orders are now up.

Was thrilled to see the email announcing this in my inbox this morning. Love what's been released so far and have no doubt she'll kill it as usual.

 

She was so good on her mini fall tour. The new stuff sounded fantastic and her backing band was phenomenal.

 

I've been on a Dessa binge a few weeks ago. Didn't even know she has a new one coming out. HYPE!

 

Finally! So excited.

A few of Dessa's songs gives me chills and touches my soul in such a way that only a few artists can. Fire Drills was very good. I love when she raps, I appreciate all her art but I just get all the feels when she raps, and of course talks about something in a brutally honest way. Also her beats bang. All boxes checked for this song.

 

Neat. When did her last album come out? I feel like I haven't listened to her in a dang long time.

 

June 2013. Definitely feels longer, though.
