This rules. Looking back, I'm surprised it took them so long to revisit this sound but I'm not going to complain now that they're pursuing it and sounding this good!

 

The audio in that video is so quiet. Sounds like a banger tho

 

Maybe the most interested I've ever been in their music tbh. Never been a huge fan but this kind of goes off

They added she/her back to their pronouns and that is causing everyone to be up in a tizzy, apparently. Personally I don’t see the big deal with them doing that though?

 

I will dutifully listen to this, as I have every album she’s ever made, and disappointedly long for another masterpiece like Here We Go Again.

 

Yeah I'm frustrated by the vitriol Demi received on other corners, not only in regards to this inoffensive change but also to the inoffensive way she explained where she was at gender identity wise. People were projecting all kinds of weird shit onto her.

 

What's the point of being able to choose your pronouns if you can't change them to accurately reflect how you feel? Makes me want to post that "For people who hate cops, y'all sure love policing each other" meme

 

From what I've seen it wasn't just about that, but people were going at her for the reason she gave for her pronoun change ("having a feminine energy") when... I mean sometimes it just works like that for some trans and non-binary people. Having been there, that's something I can relate to!

It's not like there's a rulebook when it comes gender identities, people have their own individual experiences with them. The backlash she received also shows gender fluidity is misunderstood.

 

Whoa, Substance absolutely goes. I haven't heard a ton of her stuff but I am feeling this.

I look the singles a lot more than I ever expected.

 

Cool to see Nita Strauss in her backing band! She’s a fantastic guitarist

 

29 is so good.

 

second half drags a bit, but the album isn't bad.

 

Did not expect the end of EAT ME. I can’t wait to see these songs on tour.

 

This is *really* good.

 

Have loved every record for different reasons but this is giving huge DF/HWGA vibes and I am here for it. This thing slaps.
