Hard to top Ghost City but I’m really digging this. They are so consistent

 

After the push back, I entirely forgot this came out yesterday. Gonna have to get around to it soon

 

This is pretty solid.

 

New to these guys but really enjoying this record. Vocals remind me of Minus the Bear at parts. It sounds like I need to go back to Ghost City?

 

Ok I'm glad I wasn't the only one hearing MTB in the vocals. Overall great album and fills the MTB void a bit

 

This album is one of my favorites, I absolutely love it and find new sections to appreciate every listen. I'm really excited for Blue Garden and the upcoming tour (just got my ticket). Glow, the newest single just released is great.

May be controversial for long time fans, but I don't really like the earlier albums as much (Twin Galaxies / management). They're just too rough around the edges and I appreciate the more refined / scaled back writing. It feels just as complex to me, but a lot more accessible, polished, mature.

I'll echo the MTB comparisons. I miss those guys immensely and when I found these guys (maybe 3 years ago), they filled that void just a little (albeit more chilled and subdued).

Diving into the new album now and getting to know it in the next few weeks before their show. I have liked all the singles so I'm hyped.

 

Hell yeah. New singles are great and just got a ticket for the tour. Excited for Delta season

 

New album is so nice. Great progression from Spring Island.

 

Anyone have any favorites yet? I really like Illuminator. The ending to that one is great.

 

Yea Illuminator is really good. I think I'm digging A Casa and Glow the most so far

 

only about half through the new one but Slow Burn is my favorite I think. Bass on this is great. Really beefs up their sound in the right places.

 

I'm always so impressed by their rhythm section
