Im really digging this new single. These guys are my most played artist every single summer so I can't wait for this, perfect June/July music.

Its really nice to have new music from these guys again. Feels like its been forever since Apar dropped.

Id also check out their EP "Ayrton Senna". That whole EP is made for listening to on a nice summer day.

I didn't get as into their second album as the first, but this new song is definitely cool

"Chillwave" might be the only made up genre name I hate more than "twinkle-daddies"

Yeah im with you on that. I was revisiting it this week actually and I do think it has some of their best songs but it defiantly is not as consistent as Subiza. The later half of Apar really just falls off.

also fun fact: Apar was actually their fifth LP.

Fifth?? Whoa, I had no idea. Were the earlier albums worth a listen?

in all honestly, not really ahaha. their first album is just really boring alternative rock music, its almost a completely different band. 2nd album sounds like a shitty phoenix cover band. Their 3rd album (transatlantic KK) is more in line with their current sound and is where they really start experimenting with more euro-dance influences. If you ask me though, the only song worth listening to from it is Apocalypse Gheto Blast. Song is fucking wild.

so this is out there. I am loving it so far. A lot better than APAR after the first few listens and could easily see this becoming my favourite album by them. Loving the vibes on it.

I hope they play a date in the Northwest. I've never listened to anything other than "Seasun" but it's one of my favorite songs of all time.

    Newbie

Ayrton Senna, Subiza, and Apar are summer touchstones, so I guess it's fitting that they announced a break up in the fall

Listening to Muzik was a disappointing experience, and to me it sounded like the kind of awkward, transitional album a band makes just before they break up
