Del Water Gap - I Miss You Already + I Haven’t Left Yet (September 29, 2023)

Doll House is really good

 

I haven’t had a chance to spin this yet, but the first 4 singles have been on heavy rotation for a while now. So damn good.

 

The singles didn't do much for me as they came out, but they sound much better in context. I was worried but this is great.

Also, this is a good read: Burnout Drained the Color From Del Water Gap’s World. His New Album Brought it Back

Really enjoying my first spin of this record

 

Every once in a while, his delivery on here reminds me of John from The Maine. "Beach House" made me think of "One Sunset," but maybe better...

 

Just got around to listening to the non-singles and yeah this album is dope. Beach House has been on repeat a few times.

 

Agree with most here, Beach House is a jam that I’ve been listening to on repeat

 

Quilt of Steam is so nice and soothing.

 

Never heard of this band before, but I'm going to their show tonight in SLC because I'm a fan of the support artist, Kristiane. Worth sticking around for Del Water Gap? Or where should I start with their music?

 

Yeah he’s great, definitely stay. I’ll just recommend my favorite 3 tracks. Beach House, Coping on Unemployment, and Ode to a Conversation Stuck in Your Throat. Pretty sure he performs all 3 too

 

Also a new track called "Midas" on the deluxe, and a live version of "Doll House."
