Amen. Honestly one could make an argument that Digital Bath, Sextape, and Entombed are the holy trinity of ethereal/dreamy Deftones.

Triple post, but Smile is also an absolutely fucking gorgeous song and really makes me wonder what Eros would have been. That song hits me so hard.
It amazes me that after years and years I can still find new things to appreciate in their songs. For example, yesterday I was listening to SNW on a long drive and noticed that the first chorus of Cherry Waves features no keyboard, and then it's added in gradually in each subsequent chorus until the final one is inundated with it. Such a subtle thing that adds so much to the song. Frank is the fucking man, I love what he does on all their albums. Edit: I forgot about the instrumentals existing and man is there a lot going on when you hear it that way.
Reminds me of those remixes someone made of WGTB and Hexagram where you can hear the synth lines more and it completely changes the songs.
That synth line in the chorus to WGTB is amazing and I had no idea it existed until I watched a live video of them playing it

I love their videos. Having a large knowledge of music in general and applying it to songs/genres you aren't familiar with is a really cool idea.
