I still contest the last three songs on Gore are perfect, and the record ends very strong. Just the mix, and Xenon are kinda meh. Hopefully they hit the studio soon, and Steph gets put in riff creative control like Chino alluded to.

 

I like Xenon. Puttura Infamante is the song that has always been the weakest link to me. Still pretty good, but yeah

 

Honestly the title track doesn't do a lot for me on Gore. I certainly prefer pittura and xenon.

koi no yokan was my favorite album of 2012 and i'm still discovering new things about it

 

I still think that if the mix on Gore was better it would be my favorite.

any of the last three deftones records could be the best deftones record. personally i have no idea

 

leaning toward koi no yokan tonight though. always feel like i've traveled vast distances when i listen to that one

 

KNY is def my fav of the last three and second fav overall behind S/T.
