Well, they alternated with Incubus so that could be the case here.

 

I imagine it's a co-headlining tour. Either way, I'll be in Philly for Deftones and Thrice

 

if three trapped tigers is in your date they're dope, don't fit at all with the rest of the lineup but they're a sick math rock band

 

Yeah they're at my date. I'll have to check em out. I'm not much for math rock, but I'll give em a listen since I'll be seeing them

 

they're sort of like 65daysofstatic in their more recent stuff

 

Word. I loved Wild Light so this definitely peaks my interest

 

god I wish this tour was coming through Georgia or Tennessee.

 

Really wish this tour was coming nearer to me. Seeing Deftones and Thrice together would be unreal. I like most of the Rise Against that I've heard, granted I haven't listened much since Sufferer and the Witness. Even if you're not a RA fan though, I would imagine they're a great live band.

 

Solely based on monthly spotify streams, Rise Against is twice as popular as the deftones - I never would have guessed that.

 

Tim will probably sing Passenger with Deftones, but I wonder if there will be any collaborations between Deftones and Thrice. I know Chino sang on Red Sky back in the day, but it was a last minute thing and the band wasn't super happy with it.

 

As a huge deftones fan, I don't think Red Sky would sound good with Chino at all.

Head Up sounds pretty bad live and needs more screaming, having Tim, Dustin or even Ed come out to add screaming and duel vocals could be amazing.

 

Seeing them for the first time June 10 :)

Head Up is one of my least favorite songs out of their entire discography :/

 

I was listening to it the other day, and I was getting turnt tf up. Love it even though yeah it's kinda just standard aggro Deftones.

AND Max Cavalera's on it.

 

I like it for what it is and you can really feel the anger over the loss of Max's stepson. Not one of my top tracks from ATF but I can't deny it gets me pumped.

 

Man this song is so awesome, but this live video is what I was talking about. Sounds so bad live and the way he sings it all slowed down kinda ruins it. I get its super fast and a lot of overdub on the record, so get Tim and Dustin or Ed out and have three of them tackle it ☺

 

I can't really get into ATF aside from a few songs, but even those are nowhere near their best for me
