    hilarious how poorly this quote from the Pitchfork review of S/T has aged lol, if White Pony laid the groundwork then S/T is the album that pretty much became a template for everything they've done since.

    I’ve been a fan since White Pony and this go around, I’ve promised myself I’ll only listen to the first single, pre-order, and that’s it. You never know how much longer these guys will go and I want a genuine release day experience like the old days.

    I pray I have the strength to follow through.

    I’m also hoping Dia De Los Deftones is announced soon too. Gonna try to make it this year since it’s been a decade since last saw them which is unbelievable to me

    I think I am coming around on SNW (always thought it was good but not great, which is still true), but I think "Rats!Rats!Rats!" might be one of my least favorite Deftones songs. Sounds likes multiple songs being played at once.
