cautiously optimistic. i love both of those albums dearly, but some bits of their run from S/T through KNY blend together for me (KNY the least of those 4). Ohms felt reinvigorating though, so perhaps it'll all be good.
Koi and Ohms are definitely my two favorite post-Chi records, tho I am more interested in the aspects he claims sound unlike any of their past work. I also think the record is bound to set itself apart in some manners just by nature of having a new bassist/songwriting partner(?) involved.
Koi is my fave so if we get anything remotely close to that, I’ll likely be more entertained than I was with Ohms. Gore was OK but caused me to take a step back
So like do they have a confirmed bassist? I never remember seeing anything stating that one guy joined for the onset or just some shows
