I can't believe there are multiple KNY lists without Rosemary lol, it's by far the clearest #1 on any of their albums for me

I know this is a....strange thing to point out, but these guys have great song titles. Like, "Acid Hologram" is badass.

 

They are all so good. The one that stuck out to me on the new album was Geometric Headdress

Yeah, just really unique and interesting. Even something like "Hexagram" or "Phantom Bride" are just really cool and fitting

 

I've spent so much time revisiting the previous seven albums yesterday and today that I still haven't listened to Gore haha... might finally listen after I finish this listen of KNY.

 

One of the better songs on the album. Love Acid Hologram.

 

first impression of this wasn't that positive

I have zero art in my apartment but I kinda want a wide version of this album cover it's so beautiful

 

their Covers album is now up on Apple Music and Spotify.

 

No Ordinary Love has always been one of my favorites. I'm pretty sure that was a song I downloaded back in the Napster days.

Loving this album now on my second listen.

 

I wish there was a music video for Passenger

 

Acid Hologram is hypnotic

 

Picked up the white vinyl and giving it my first spin wth headphones. The sound is so sweet.

 

How is this being received by the metal community? I saw a bunch of comments on the PRP saying it was boring, lame, etc.

Good article. I completely get what he's saying about Gore not being instaneous and how he expected people to say "this wasn't what I was expecting" because that's exactly how I felt on my first listen. Now I'm in love with this album after three listens and I think it's up there for their best work alongside White Pony and Diamond Eyes, at least for me. It's such an interesting album and I love the direction they took with it.
