"Feiticera" is so good wtf

 

Most days I forget that album exists ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Rapture, Mein, Rats, and Cellphone

 

It is. Which of these is it better than? Bored, My Own Summer, Hexagram, Hole In the Earth, Diamond Eyes, Swerve City, or Prayers/Triangles? It's a more a testament to how good their openers are.

 

i'd say it's better than at least bored, hole in the earth, and prayers/triangles

 

All of them.

 

Feiticeira approaches genius. Classy, heavy, creepy, beautiful, sinister, graceful, angular, smooth. It's phenomenal.

 

I vastly underestimated how much y'all like Feiticera. I think it's pretty good, and I can see the arguments for it being better than Bored and Prayers/Triangles, but that's about it.

Back to School was always the opener on WP for me with Feiticera second.

 

Try listening to that opening riff and "fuck, I'm druuunk" without getting insanely hyped

I do not like P/T. I thought it was going to sound way different when they teased the riff before releasing Gore, but man I really can't get into what Chino did with it.

Yeah this is how it is for me, I've had to retrain my brain to try to view Feiticera as the opener and it's just never set the mood properly for me. Digital Bath is also super weird as the second song on an album.

 

"Prayers/Triangles" gets stuck in my head a lot, I think it's a cool opener

 

I don’t understand how Back to School sets the mood of White Pony better than Feiticera but

 

This sounds so goddamn good...

...I just couldn't vibe with the full thing. Oh well.
