I see no one talking about potential leaks on sharinglungs/reddit/fb groups (gosh that's how invested I've become for the tiniest crumbs of information) so I'm not sure anything did leak last night?

edit: Their label is apparently deleting things very quickly though

Nothing leaked last night. Potentially there are six songs 'out there' but as far as I'm aware only a couple got spread.

They're teasing new lyrics on Spotify canvas.

 

Drop the song at midnight and I’ll stay up to wake the neighborhood.

 

I wonder if they’ll drop one on the Radio 1 Rock show in a bit.

 

The teasing would have started earlier this week if that were the case, plus Daniel has not said anything. Surprise drop on the show would be very unlikely.

 

Would they start teasing this early for a Friday release? I wonder if the single will come out earlier, like on Tuesday

Yeah you’re probably right, wishful thinking on my part. I’m still gonna be tuning in anyway for Palm Readers new track as they're local boys to me and their last album was one of my fav releases of the last few years.

Either way I hope we get a new Deftones track soon.

I get removing leaks, but to delete reposts of the supposed cover art? Come on, why are corporate major labels so fuckin brain dead after 20+ years of utilizing the internet for marketing

 

I suppose they're extra cautious due to the leaks that happened during the last few album campaigns but still, this time it's like they operate like we're still in the napster days or something.
